"TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN PROJECT"

Location: Bangladesh 44 Districts.

Date: Rolling.

 

A tree produces enough oxygen in 1 year to keep a family of 4 breathing.

A human breaths about 9.5 tons of air in a year, but oxygen only makes up about 23% of that air, by mass, and we only extract a little over a third of the oxygen from each breath. That works out to a total of about 740kg of oxygen per year. Which is, very roughly, 7 or 8 trees worth.

Benefits of Trees:

-give off oxygen that we need to breath

-reduce the amount of storm water run off, which reduces erosion and pollution

-reduce the effects of flooding
